Reception has limited opening hours during the low season. You can find current opening hours at the bottom of the page, under the “Good to know” tab or by contacting our booking service.

To check in outside of reception’s opening hours, contact the booking service in advance.

SERVICE BUILDINGS

There are six service buildings in the area, so you are always near a shower and toilet, wherever you may be staying on the campgrounds. Three of the service buildings have a laundry room. To do laundry, you will need a token (SEK 60/load) which is available for purchase at reception. The same is applicable for dryers.

One of our service buildings has a dog bath (S5).

All service buildings have changing tables. One of our service buildings also has a baby bathtub at a comfortable height for the adult (S4).

Five of the service buildings have a kitchen. Stove, microwave and a sink are in all five service buildings, while only some have an oven. Our biggest service building also has a dining room, which is available to everyone in the area.

During peak season, all (or most) of the service buildings are open, while only a limited number are open during the low season. Check with reception/booking which service building(s) is/are open during your stay.

ELECTRICITY

Because we comply with the new EU standards, you will need an adapter to connect to electricity. Adapters are available for purchase at reception if you do not have one with you. Electricity is included with all campsites, 230 volt/10 amps (some with 16 amps).

The campgrounds have free Wi-Fi.

ABOUT THE CAMPGROUNDS

The campgrounds have three playgrounds, grassy fields for ball games, a mini golf course, a disc golf course, a volleyball net, a bocce court, two barbecue sites, canoes, pedal boats and rowboats. We also have a restaurant with billiards, a kiosk and conference facility.

The Viskan river flows through the campgrounds. Free fishing is available in the entire area.

Rya Åsar, a 550-hectare nature reserve with hiking trails, is located next door to the campgrounds. Borås Zoo is just 400 m from the campgrounds. Located nearby are the Knalleland shopping centre, swim arena, football arena, ice skating rink, tennis courts, Abecita art museum, Leo’s Lekland, Upzone adventure park and much more.

GOING ON HOLIDAY HAS NEVER BEEN MORE BENEFICIAL

When checking in to campgrounds affiliated with SCR Swedish Camping, you need either a Camping ID or Camping Key Europe. A Camping ID is available for free at the campgrounds or by downloading the My Camping Key app from the App Store or Google Play.

European partnership

Camping Key Europe is a European partnership between consumer organizations and campground representatives. In Sweden, Camping Key Europe is sold through SCR Swedish Camping, an industry association for Sweden’s campgrounds. SCR Swedish Camping works to develop and improve camping holiday experiences in Sweden.

Activate Camping Key Europe in the App Store or Google Play

When you have purchased Camping Key Europe, it is quick and easy to activate using the My Camping Key app, which can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play. This gives you access to quick and easy check-in using your phone, which allows you to avoid the hassle of plastic cards and manual registration. You will also have all of your benefits collected in a single place, and an overview of your camping history. Camping Key Europe can be activated on up to 3 devices at once and used offline for 5 days, but must be online for updates. You will receive a reminder when it is time to renew your Camping Key Europe. If you buy your Camping Key Europe at Campingkeyeurope.se or another website, you do not have to think about renewing it; it will automatically be renewed each year as long as you do not cancel your subscription.
