Hiring a cabin from us is the beginning of a great holiday.

Enjoy beautiful nature, experience adventures at Borås Zoo, hike through Rya Åsar, go canoeing on the Viskan, or play billiards in our restaurant. Borås Camping is one of the biggest city campgrounds in Sweden, with 52 cabins, a hostel, and over 300 campsites.

Activities

Adventure kiosk

In the heart of our Adventure Area, you will find our adventure kiosk. Here, you can rent canoes, pedal boats, and mini golf equipment, and borrow balls, bocce sets and much more. You can also buy ice cream, sweets and drinks. The adventure kiosk is open in peak season in summer. Welcome!

Disc golf – year-round

On the campgrounds, we have a 9-hole disc golf course that is open to everyone. Bring your own frisbee and go ahead and play. You can also buy a frisbee from reception if you do not have your own. Invite your friends or family to a competition or do a round on your own to practice your skills. The beautiful course runs along the Viskan river, which flows through the campgrounds. See our map of the campgrounds to find tees and baskets.

Bocce court – year-round

Our adventure area has a lovely bocce court. Challenge friends of all ages to a game. The bocce court is open to everyone year-round, as long as it is not covered in snow. If you have your own bocce set, go ahead and play. If you want to play but do not have a set, you can borrow one from the adventure kiosk. The adventure kiosk is open in peak season in summer. At other times, contact reception.

Swimming

You can take a swim in the river in our Adventure Area.

Go swimming straight from the field; remember not to let children who cannot swim go into the water alone, as it gets deep quickly.

Swimming in the Viskan river at the campgrounds is wonderful. The water from Öresjö lake, at Borås’ biggest beach, Almenäs, runs out into the Viskan and past the campgrounds.

Why not combine a swim with a sauna session? If you’re courageous, try it in winter! Reserve our sauna at reception

Midsummer

Come and celebrate Midsummer with us!
Naturally, we will have dancing around the Maypole and a troubadour.
You can also play mini golf, enter a lottery, use pedal boats, enjoy a visit from Simba the lion, have the kids play on playgrounds and much more. Visit our Bistro to eat something tasty and hear live music.
Join us for a Midsummer celebration!

More info to come!

Grill

If you didn’t bring your own grill with you, the campgrounds have two barbecue areas, one of which is in our Adventure Area. You will find a large barbecue with benches around it. Next to the barbecue is a table and benches under the cover of a roof. If you forgot to buy lighter fluid and charcoal, they are available for purchase in our store, which is open during peak season in summer.

Winter paddling

How about navigating through a winter wonderland? Head to Öresjö lake, light a fire, get warm and grill your lunch at one of the many barbecues before returning to the campgrounds. Try winter paddling!
Of course, you can also enjoy this activity in autumn, spring and summer!

Mini golf – open year-round

Our Adventure Area has a 12-hole mini golf course. We are open year-round, as long as the course is not covered in snow. Challenge your friends or family to a match, and may the best player win! You can rent clubs and balls from our adventure kiosk, which is open in peak season in summer. At other times, we can help you in the store.
